VJ TABOO

 

Almost nothing states dedication to the DJ world until the name Taboo hits the ears. From humble beginnings as a young Filipino-American farm boy, Omar Espinola known to the world as Vj or Dj Taboo, saved months upon months of lunch money and farm hand money in order to save enough for a set of Technic 1200 Turntables.

 

Early roots of Taboo's life started as the son of a subsistence and part time poultry farmer, Taboo's musical background consists of an arsenal of Piano, Violin, Voice, and soon after the turntable. Once being the youngest DJ on the once Houston Richmond strip, veteran DJ's of Houston's battle and club circuit took young Taboo under their wing and molded him into one of Houston's if not one of America's favorite party rockers.

 

Vj Taboo has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Dj Q Bert, Serafin, Scott Summers, Supa Dj Peter Parker, Dj Riddler, and Dj Vice to name a few and has Dj'd acts in Las Vegas sharing the bill with Drake, Axl Rose, Robbie Rivera, Corey Taylor (Slipknot), and took 2nd place in the 2013 Winter Music Conference Dj Mixoff hosted by Master of the Mix.
